U.S. M1850 Foot Officer’s Sword

This sword was supplied to all army foot officers with rank major and below from 1851 to 1865. The tempered, high carbon steel blade is etched with the letters "US", floral pattern, branches and scrolls. The solid brass guard and hilt also display a floral design. Comes complete with steel scabbard. Overall length 36 ½", blade length 31"

U.S. Model 1840 N.C.O. Sword

In August of 1840, the U.S. Army Ordnance Dept. contracted with S&K, Solingen, Prussia for 1000 of this pattern sword. Later, Ames Mfg. Co. received thier first contract in 1844 to make this sword, and they along with others made these swords up until the end of the Civil War in 1865. Our replica comes complete with leather scabbard and brass mounts.

U.S. Model 1860 Calvary Saber

Originally made by Ames Mfg. Co., the model 1860 was the most widely used calvary saber in the Civil War. It has single edged curved spring steel blade with Ames and U.S. markings and a solid brass triple bar guard with leather covered wirebound grip. Comes with a polished steel scabbard with two rings to attach to belt. the most authentic replica available today. Overall length 42" blade length 33 ¾"

Confederate Foot Officer’s Sword

Often called the "Memphis Novelty Works" sword, which was the company of Thomas Leech and Charles H. Rigdon (Memphis, TN). This excellent replica has a brass pommel and guard which bears the distinctive "CS" in raised letters in an oval on the upper side of the floral decorations. The sword has a wire wrapped, leather bound grip. It comes with a blued metal Scabbard.

Confederate N.C.O. Sword

Replica of the extremely rare C.S.A. non-commissioned officer’s sword with only a very few originals known to exist today in private collections and museums. Based on the U.S. M1840 N.C.O. sword the Confederate version has "CSA" cast in to the outer clamshell guard. Our replica is complete with scabbard and excellent for both the collector and re-enactor.
